Why it exists
You protect your skin from the sun. Your hair is standing in the same sunlight.
UV exposure fades hair colour and weakens the strand — anyone who has spent an Indian summer outdoors knows what it does to a dye job. Yet hair UV protection barely exists as a category here. What's sold abroad runs $28–34, usually imported at a markup.
Solar Mist is a filtered spray in frosted glass. Two well-established UV filters, a light non-oily base, and nothing else competing for space in the formula. Fine hair included — it doesn't flatten.
How to use
Shake
The filters need to be evenly dispersed before the first spray.
Six to eight sprays
Through dry or damp hair, about 20cm away, before you go out.
Mid-lengths and ends first
That's where colour fades and breakage starts.
Reapply
After swimming, or after roughly four hours of direct sun.
